Revolution is a monthly topical medication used in the prevention of ear mites, fleas, and heartworms. Revolution offers dogs protection from sarcoptic mange and ticks. Cats are protected from hookworm and roundworm infestations. Revolution can be purchased in packages containing multiple monthly doses to be applied monthly. Each application of Revolution is packaged in individual one-dose tubes. Revolution is approved for puppies as young as six weeks or kittens as young as eight weeks of age. It is recommended to apply Revolution year round due to its heartworm prevention properties. Revolution requires a prescription.

Revolution is applied to dogs and cats in much the same way. Part the hair at the base of your dog’s neck and place the tip on the bare skin and squeeze the entire contents of the tube on the dog.

Apply Revolution to your cat by parting the hair at the base of the neck and placing the tip on the bare skin. Squeeze the entire contents of the tube on the cat.

Do not apply to wet skin and wait at least two hours before bathing, shampooing, or allowing your dog or cat to get wet.
