Side Effects of Revolution
Some side effects can be associated with the use of Revolution. The most common of which is loss of hair at the site of application. A patch of inflamed skin or reddening of the application area is sometimes observed when Revolution is used on cats. Revolution should not be used on sick, underweight, or otherwise health compromised animals.
Studies conducted on adverse reactions resulting from the use of Revolution show signs of diarrhea, vomiting (sometimes accompanied with blood), and sluggishness. Other cases give an indication of fever, loss of appetite, undue salivating, and lack of coordination.
Skin concerns associated with the use of Revolution lead to complaints such as welts, itchiness, and redness. Problems of this nature can lead to skin infections which are incurred due to continual biting or scratching.
Although extremely rare, reports indicate that Revolution can lead to episodes of seizures in dogs or death of cats or dogs.
Revolution is not appropriate for human use. It can cause skin or eye irritation when it comes in contact with human skin. Hives, itching, and skin rashes although rare, can occur in humans. Hands should be washed thoroughly with soap and water immediately after applying Revolution to a pet. If ingested, immediate medical attention should be sought.
